How to get to Beta Systems Software AG

Coming from most directions, it is easiest if you orient yourself using the "Siegessäule" (the large gold "Victory Column" with the angel on the top) as a landmark. Leave this big roundabout, called "Großen Stern", or "big star" because of its 5 exit roads, in the direction of '"Bellevue". At the third set of traffic lights turn left into the "AIt-Moabit" road. After two more sets of traffic lights you will come to the Spree Bogen Center, which is on your left opposite a park. You will be able to find our exact location on the location map.

If you are coming to Berlin from the West or the South, it's best if you drive into the city on the A115 (the "AVUS"). Keep to the right as you get to the end of the AVUS under the "Funkturm" (radio transmission tower), and follow the signs for the direction of "Tegel/Wedding", then turn left in the direction of "ICC/Messedamm". Go straight on, crossing the two large intersections with traffic lights next to the ICC. At the third large intersection turn right into a road called "Kaiserdamm". This eight-lane road leads directly into the city, passing the "Siegessäule" and Brandenburger Tor. Leave the roundabout at the "Siegessäule", taking the third exit road and continue as described above.

If you are coming from the North, it is best to drive into the city using the A 100 Stadtautobahn. Take the "Saatwinkler Damm" exit and continue along this winding road. (Beware! Radar speed checks enforce a 50kmh speed limit!) After a while this road becomes "Beusselstraße". At the end of this street, turn left into "AIt-Moabit". After four more sets of traffic lights you will see the Spree Bogen Center on your right-hand side opposite a park.


From the airport

A taxi from Berlin Tegel (TXL) airport to Beta Systems costs about 11 EUR.
There is also a direct express bus, the "Jet Express TXL". This special airport shuttle runs every 10 minutes daily between 6.30am and 11.10pm, Saturdays every 20 minutes, and every ten minutes on Sundays from 1.50pm. A ticket costs 2,10 EUR. It may also be worth your while to buy a daily or group ticket, valid for all public transport throughout Berlin. Get out of the bus at the "Turmstraße" stop. The main entrance to the Spree Bogen Center is 200 meters straight ahead in front of you.

A taxi from Berlin Tempelhof (THF) airport to Beta Systems costs about 18 EUR.
It is just as easy however, to use public transport which costs 2.10 EUR. Take the U-Bahn from the station in front of the airport building. The entrance is just beyond the monument to the airlift in front of the main entrance. Take the U6 line in the direction of "Alt-Tegel" to the "Zinnowitzer Straße" stop. Get out of the U-Bahn and take bus number 245 in the direction of  "Zoologischer Garten". Get out of the bus at the ninth stop, which is called "Kleiner Tiergarten". The entrance to the Spree Bogen Center is opposite the bus stop.

A taxi from Berlin Schönefeld (SXF) airport to Beta Systems costs about 35 EUR, because the airport is a long way from the city. During the day, the S-Bahn will bring you into the city just as quickly for 2.10 EUR. Catch bus number 171 from outside the airport building for the short distance to Schönefeld station. From there, take S-Bahn line S9 in the direction of "Westkreuz'" The trip takes about 45 minutes and you will even be able to see some of the city's sights on the way (the television tower on your left at Alexanderplatz, the Museum Island and Reichstagsgebäude (Parliament building) just after Friedrichstraße, also on your left. Get out of the S-Bahn at the "Bellevue" station, leaving the station through the middle exit. Walk towards the river Spree, cross the bridge over the Spree, then walk about 300 m along the right bank of the river until you see the Beta Systems sign on your right, just beyond a small tower.

If you are coming by car from the airport, it is best to take the B 179 in the direction of the 'Stadtzentrum" (city center), crossing the railway bridge opposite the airport, then taking the "Waltersdorfer Chaussee". After about 10 km you will come directly onto the Stadtautobahn A 100, going in the direction of "Tempelhof". Continue along the Stadtautobahn A 100 in the direction of "Wedding", passing the "Funkturm" (radio transmission tower). After some distance, the Autobahn divides. Continue in the direction of "Seestraße", then take the "Beusselstraße" exit and turn right into Beusselstraße. At the end of Beusselstraße turn left into "Alt-Moabit". After crossing 4 more sets of traffic lights you will find the Spree Bogen Center on your right.


By rail

A taxi from "Berlin-Hauptbahnhof" railway station to Beta Systems costs about 8 EUR. It is however, just as easy to take public transport, which costs 2.10 EUR. You can take bus number 245 door to door (the "Kleiner Tiergarten" stop, then about 50 steps to the Spree Bogen Center entrance). You could also take the S-Bahn. The tracks are right next to the national and international tracks. Take any train going towards Charlottenburg, Potsdam or Spandau and get out at the next station, which is called "Bellevue". Leave the station through the middle exit. Walk towards the river Spree, cross the bridge over the Spree, then walk about 300 m along the right bank of the river until you see the Beta Systems sign on your right, just beyond a small tower.

A taxi from "Berlin Lichtenberg" railway station to Beta Systems costs about 25 EUR.
The S-Bahn is quicker, you don't have to change, and it costs a mere 2.10 EUR. Take any S-Bahn train going in the directions of "Charlottenburg", "Wannsee" or "Potsdam". Get out at the 10th station, which is called "Bellevue", leaving the station through the middle exit. Walk towards the river Spree, cross the bridge over the Spree, then walk about 300 m along the right bank of the river until you see the Beta Systems sign on your right, just beyond a small tower.
