A: IT service providers and large financial services and insurance companies are among Beta Systems’ customers, as are enterprises in the areas of trade, industry, telecommunications, logistics and energy supply, and public authorities. More than 2,000 Beta Systems products are currently installed at over 1,000 customer sites worldwide. These customers include ABN Amro Bank, BMW, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Telekom, Lufthansa, HUK-Coburg, RWE, Siemens, Swisscom, Transamerica, T-Systems und VW et al.

A: Beta Systems' initial public offering was in June 1997 and the stock is traded on the prime standard segment of Deutsche Börse Frankfurt, SE Code: BSS under the ISIN DE 0005224406 (See filing at Deutsche Börse for more details). At moment there is no listing of Beta Systems' shares at a stock exchange outside of Germany.

Q: Under what rules does Beta Systems report its financial information?
A: The adoption of IFRS regulated by law was carried out with the report on the first half-year 2005. Additionally, Beta Systems provides annual statements under German HGB.
Q: Does Beta Systems pay a dividend?
A: For the first time since our IPO in 1997, Beta Systems paid a dividend of 50 cent (25 cent dividend and a 25 cent anniversary bonus per share for shareholders) for fiscal 2003. For the fiscal year 2004 a dividend of 25 cent was paid. This marked the beginning of a long-term dividend policy. It also represented a clear signal to the capital markets that we remain fully committed to combining value, profitability, and growth, while at the same time allowing shareholders to participate directly in company profits.
Q: Does Beta Systems have a stock incentive program for its employees in place?
A: Up to the fiscal year 2004 the Annual General Meeting has given the acceptance to the Beta-Stock Incentive Plan. It enabled every employee to share in Beta Systems' success by participating in the share price performance. Furthermore, up to 2004, the AGM gave their permission for a stock option plan for the Management of the Beta Systems Group. Detailed information regarding these programs can be found in our financial reports. After the completion of these programs in 2004, there were no new programs authorized by the AGM of Beta Systems for future fiscal years.
Q: Does the Company plan to repurchase own stocks?
A: At the moment Beta Systems' Management Board has no permission by the AGM to engage in a share buyback program.
