Beta Systems to participate at the TWS User Education Event ASAP 2011

Herndon, VA. 9th March 2011 – Beta Systems Software of North America, Inc. today announced that it will be participating at ASAP 2011, the Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) user education event. ASAP 2011 is being held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from April 10 to April 13. Highlights of the conference include 85 courses on a wide range of topics related to both distributed and mainframe platforms by technical experts as well as users. Beta Systems will be present at the event to showcase two key solutions of interest to TWS users: Beta 92 Extended Job Manager and the Beta 92 Agility, two of the products in Beta Systems’ proven Workload Management Suite.

The Beta 92 Extended Job Manager from Beta Systems extends the reach of TWS/z across the enterprise and is capable of scheduling countless numbers of jobs on distributed platforms. In addition, it centralizes job management based on decentralized events and distributes the workload dynamically across all connected servers.

Beta 92 Agility provides platform-independent checking and archiving of job and process logs throughout the company. It allows the z/OS-based infrastructure software to be used for applications and users in all areas of the corporate IT system and provides a long term, tamper-proof archive. Beta 92 Agility helps increase the cost-effectiveness and efficiency of a company’s IT infrastructure by scanning incoming logs and reacting to pre-defined events. It also connects lines of business and IT by using high-performance Web services to provide access to z/OS data for the enterprise.
