Efficient Distribution through Document Bundling
Beta 93 is especially designed for distribution of large volumes of documents from OS/390-based applications. To make this process more efficient, lists or reports that are addressed to the same recipient or group can be grouped into bundles. Bundles are equipped with cover pages, table of contents, reference and other data (such as weight and barcode), which facilitate distribution as well as post-processing.
 
Centralized and Decentralized Print Control
The VIDiDOC Suite is equipped with flexible output management options for print control with minimal administration. Using Beta 93, documents can be sent to fax servers, printers in data centers and mailing systems. Our partner product UNISPOOL* manages whole printer networks and thus enables the usage of all printers distributed throughout the organization.
 
Automatic Layout-Editing
Beta 93 provides you with the layout tool LibertySoft** with which all documents of an enterprise can be formatted in an attractive and uniform way. For the generation of layouts, the solution includes a variety of graphic tools and a versatile script language. They allow for a page definition that can be applied to all documents, irrespective of the system in which they have been created. Incoming files are analyzed at the interface and classified according to their page definition.
Users benefit by obtaining clearly structured and readable documents in the desired file format (e.g. PDF, PCL or AFP format). Such enhanced documents can then be printed, sent or archived.
