Workload Automation Specialist HORIZONT Software takes over consulting company ATICS
HORIZONT Software GmbH in Munich is taking over the business operations of ATICS GmbH in Stockstadt am Rhein on April 1, 2021. All shareholders and employees of ATICS will transfer to HORIZONT.
The future cooperation will strengthen HORIZONT’s position in the workload automation market segment both technologically and economically, and will enable it to achieve a broader market presence, particularly in the Control-M environment. This merger will provide customers with even more expertise and quality in the consulting and operation of their workload automation solutions. With their extensive experience and expertise, the highly qualified employees of both companies can support and accelerate the enhancement and further development of HORIZONT’s existing scheduling product portfolio.
HORIZONT has been supporting companies with software products and IT solutions in the field of workload automation and scheduling for almost 30 years. HORIZONT is active nationally and internationally with numerous partner companies. Around 300 customers from all sectors in over 600 running installations in over 15 countries around the world optimize their processes and improve their workflows and quality with products and solutions from HORIZONT. HORIZONT is one of the leading medium-sized software solution providers in the field of workload automation and generates half of its sales internationally.
ATICS has been active for 20 years as a consulting firm in the DACH region in the field of workload automation with a focus on BMC Control-M z/OS and distributed, as well as streamworks from arvato Systems and in log and output management (z/OS and distributed). ATICS also offers an extensive training program in these topics as well as in the z/OS, Unix and SAP environment.
ATICS customer projects will be successively transferred to HORIZONT as early as January 1, 2021, and all ATICS employees – including the former managing directors of ATICS – will still be available under HORIZONT. The ATICS business will therefore be continued by HORIZONT in the long term.
