Why did you choose Beta Systems?

I chose Beta Systems because the city of Berlin offers a great environment, and I was impressed by the positive reviews on kununu. The job interview was very pleasant, and the tasks described sounded extremely interesting. I’ve always been fascinated by the IT industry, and I had the feeling that I’d find exciting and challenging tasks in this field at Beta Systems.

What are your tasks at Beta Systems?

At Beta Systems, I work as an IAM Consultant. My main tasks include supporting customers in various areas such as deployment, migration, upgrades, and the further development of custom solutions in the field of Identity and Access Management (IAM).

What does a typical working day look like for you?

A typical workday includes internal meetings, regular calls with customers, and working through my to-do list with tasks like solution development, testing, and more. I also take breaks to catch up with colleagues – whether it’s about current industry topics or personal interests. This mix of responsibilities keeps things varied and requires both technical skills and strong interpersonal communication.

Office or home office?

Personally, I prefer working from home, even though the office offers the advantage of in-person contact with colleagues. Working from home saves me a lot of time, and in winter I enjoy the luxury of working comfortably from home in bad weather. I can also concentrate better, as the office can get noisy when others are on calls or having conversations. The quiet environment at home helps me be more productive.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

What I enjoy most are the variety of tasks and the challenges that come with them. I also really appreciate the opportunity to be creative, work independently, and manage my time flexibly. All of this gives my work a dynamic and fulfilling quality.

What do you particularly appreciate about your colleagues?

I especially appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness of my colleagues. We support each other, share our knowledge, and work well as a team. The positive atmosphere, shaped by respectful interaction, makes collaboration truly enjoyable.

What qualities do you need for a job in your field? What challenges are there?

Several qualities are important in my role. A solid IT background is essential to understand the technical aspects. Creativity helps in developing innovative solutions. Independence is key since the work often involves taking responsibility, and flexibility is required. A willingness to keep learning is a must, as technology evolves quickly. Good communication skills are also essential, especially when working with customers. Logical thinking and a structured approach help in handling complex problems. The challenges lie in dealing with technical difficulties, adapting to changing customer requirements, and staying up to date with IT developments.

What do you like best about Beta Systems as an employer?

What I like most about Beta Systems is the flexibility the company offers. The possibility to work from home supports a healthy work-life balance. I also appreciate that there are no big age gaps among colleagues, which contributes to a pleasant working environment. Fair compensation is another positive aspect. All in all, Beta Systems provides a work culture based on flexibility, balance, and fairness.

What three words would you use to describe Beta Systems?

Family-like, committed, employee-oriented.
