In light of the Corona pandemic, the German government decided to quickly get a Hospital Future Act underway.

One of its aims is to improve digital infrastructures at hospitals. The program supports and promotes investments made towards patient care and organization as well as communication and documentation.

It also aims to improve IT and cyber security in the healthcare sector.
