About the Integration
The ANOW! integration with Oracle PeopleSoft extends our enterprise workload automation and orchestration capabilities to core business processes managed by PeopleSoft ERP applications. This bi-directional integration allows ANOW! to trigger a variety of PeopleSoft tasks, including Application Engine, SQR Process, Crystal Reports, and nVision, while also monitoring their status and output.
The integration functions through ANOW! Agents deployed on Server Nodes, which act as intermediaries translating requests and responses between ANOW! and PeopleSoft. Endpoints define specific connection points within the PeopleSoft system, encapsulating credentials and configuration details for targeting particular PeopleSoft instances. This setup requires two vital connections: to the PeopleSoft Application Server via API and to the Oracle Database Server via JDBC for status checks and object browsing.
