How We Do Migrations
For realizing Broadcom migration projects, we rely on our in-house professional services team, and optionally on trusted partners to support us. Any migration will start with an initial discovery using our CA-product-specific checklists, before then going into deeper review of parameters and structures.
Once the implementations have been analyzed, migration can start. We aim to automate as much as possible, both for efficiency as well as reduction of potential human error.
Once migration is completed, testing and validation will follow. We typically run in parallel for a while before finally shutting down use of Broadcom products.
For many backend products – end users will not notice any difference after the switch to Beta Systems.
The Enabler
XINFO with its scanners is an enabler for analysing and migrating especially CA7, CA Automic, and CA Scheduler.
It can also scan CA1, CA Deliver and CA EasyTrieve and many more utilities for mainframe discovery.
