Beta DocX enables organizations to centrally manage high volumes of document and print data. Documents can be processed, distributed, stored and archived regardless of their source, format or volume, including specialized mainframe formats such as AFP and AFPDS. Granular access permissions for reading and commenting on documents or specific document sections help maintain security and confidentiality.

Centralized output management provides the capabilities required to convert, bundle, index and archive large document volumes from different source systems. Document-related workflows automatically route content between users according to defined workflow logic, while web-based interfaces provide departments with fast and secure access to documents and extensive lists.

Beta DocX also supports the optimization of mainframe and high-volume printing costs. It can prepare data for mass transaction printing, work with the Beta UX product family to provide archive data without mainframe costs, and integrate SAP data into centralized output management. Combined with Beta DocZ or other IBM Z products, workloads can also be moved to Linux or Unix systems to reduce mainframe processing costs.
